Bridgman Oil Hutchinson BranchIn 1960 Elmer O. Bridgman started selling Standard oil products as a commissioned agent in Mt. Hope, Kansas. In 1964 Standard Oil Company transferred Elmer Bridgman to Burrton expanding his sales territory. In 1976 Standard Oil sold Elmer Bridgman the business where he started Bridgman Oil Company selling petroleum products as an Amoco jobber. In 1977, the Hutchinson location was purchased and the office was established there. The Hutchinson office handles all the accounting functions and dispatching of trucks.

There are three cardtrol locations: Hutchinson, Burrton, and Pleasantview. The cardtrol system allows customers to have self-serve fuel twenty-four hours a day. The Pleasantview location will accept all major credit cards. The Hutchinson and Burrton locations have a bulk facility for refined fuels and a warehouse for oils and lubricants which allows prompt delivery to all of our customers. The Hutchinson location is the primary storage facility for propane. Bridgman Oil Company, Inc. employs seven dedicated people who are committed to making our service to you the best it can be.
